Denver, Colorado: The Epicenter of Cannabis Legalization
Colorado legalized cannabis possession in 2000 via Amendment 20 and legalized the individual's right to grow cannabis in 2014 via Amendment 64.

What can other states learn about cannabis legalization and a person's U.S. and State constitutional rights from the State of Colorado and its people?
Big Pharma and the Cancer Industry versus Cannabis, CBD Therapy and Individual Rights
We live in a world and time where people have used Cannabidiol for over 20 years to cure their cancer, but there's virtually no institutional memory of these people and events.
Medical researchers have found that Cannabidiol does in fact slow or stop the metastization of cancer cells.
So what's the problem? The problem is Big Pharma and the U.S. government will not fund clinical trials based on the findings of medical researchers.
Why not? Because Big Pharma is concerned that cancer patients will self-medicate to cure their cancer WITHOUT purchasing BIG PHARMA drugs.
Big Pharma earns huge profits from their current product line of anti-cancer medications.
Big Pharma isn't interested in curing cancer - Big Pharma is interested in selling cancer treatments, not cancer cures.
If cancer patients could cure their cancer WITHOUT purchasing BIG PHARMA cancer treatments, Big Pharma profits would suffer.
The U.S. cancer industry is exactly that - a cancer industry.
The last thing the multi-billion cancer industry needs is a stinking cure for cancer.
I created a webpage filled with examples of BIG PHARMA anti-cannabis propaganda.
It is essential that the cancer patient realize that your U.S. Senator or U.S. Representative are well-paid agents and lobbyists for BIG PHARMA and the cancer industry.
Some states have legalized cannabis but in most instances BIG PHARMA agents made sure state legislation did not include a state constitutional right to grow your own cannabis.
Under the Biden administration, cannabis-hating BIG PHARMA agent Joe Biden dispatched the DEA and federal agents to shut down California dispensaries and arrest operators for growing cannabis based on the concept that dispensary operators had state authority to sell cannabis but no legal authority to grow cannabis.
However the Biden administration and the DEA did not raid Colorado dispensaries precisely because Colorado had the good sense and forethought to codify a person's right to grow cannabis plants into the Colorado Constitution, thanks to a former DEA agent who wrote Colorado Amendment 64 at the turn of the 21st century.
In Colorado an individual enjoys a state constitutional right to grow 6-12 plants.
Other states who have semi-legalized cannabis suffered BIG PHARMA agents who made sure state legislation did not include the individual's constitutional right to grow cannabis plants.
BIG PHARMA, Democrats and Republicans have indeed conspired and acted to deny a person's right to grow cannabis plants for themselves and they have worked hard over the years to keep such individual grow rights out of state law and constitutions.
The richest man in the world, Elon Musk loves to smoke cannabis and consume edibles, but is too ignorant to fund clinical trials based on years of cannabis medical research.
Americans need to realize that BIG MONEY in federal elections is THE PRIMARY PROBLEM in America and most of America's problems are subsets of BIG MONEY in U.S. politics and elections.
Americans need to realize that neither Democrats nor Republicans will ever pass legislation eliminating BIG MONEY DONORS from their bank accounts and federal elections.
Institutionalized bi-partisan greed is literally killing Americans and denying Americans life-saving cannabis-based treatments and cures.
The sad fact is it's going to take a new political party of young Americans who will not succumb to greed and the well-funded, institutionalized bi-partisan conspiracy to STOP cannabis clincial trials from taking place.
The truth is the day a new political party passes legislation mandating 100% federal funding of ALL federal campaigns, will be the day We The People END corporate, special interest and billionaire control of U.S. domestic policy and END foreign lobby control of U.S. foreign policy.
The longest journey begins with but a single step.

Big Pharma Goons
Cannabis legalization is shaking up the pharmaceutical industry, and Big Pharma is scrambling to protect its cash cow.
The math is simple: when people turn to cannabis for pain relief, anxiety, or sleep issues, they buy fewer prescription pills. That’s a multi-billion dollar problem for pharmaceutical giants.
So, how does Big Pharma fight back? By lobbying against legalization, fast-tracking their own synthetic cannabis drugs, and using politicians as their puppets. Let’s break it all down.
Cannabis Research
Medical researchers have been studying cannabis for decades
Plant-derived cannabinoids, including #9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), induce apoptosis in leukemic cells.
Cannabidiol (CBD), a primary bioactive phytocannabinoid extracted from hemp, is reported to possess potent anti-tumorigenic activity in multiple cancers.
However, the effects of CBD on bladder cancer (BC) and the underlying molecular mechanisms are rarely reported.
Here, several experiments proved that CBD promoted BC cells (T24, 5637, and UM-UC-3) death.
Can Cannabidiol Cure Bladder Cancer?
What do medical researchers report on this issue?

Cannabidiol (CBD), a primary bioactive phytocannabinoid extracted from hemp, is reported to possess potent anti-tumorigenic activity in multiple cancers.
However, the effects of CBD on bladder cancer (BC) and the underlying molecular mechanisms are rarely reported.
Here, several experiments proved that CBD promoted BC cells (T24, 5637, and UM-UC-3) death.
For example, T24 cells were treated with 12 µM CBD for 48 h, flow cytometry analysis demonstrated that early and late apoptotic cells were accounted for by 49.91%, indicating CBD enhanced cell apoptosis ability.
To deeper explore molecular mechanisms, the CBD-treated T24 cell transcriptome libraries were established.
KEGG analysis implied that the significantly changed genes were enriched in the PI3K/Akt pathway.
qRT-PCR and Western blot assays verified that CBD regulated BC cells growth and migration and induced apoptosis by inactivating the PI3K/Akt pathway.
Meanwhile, the developed chitosan to wrap CBD-loaded PLGA nanoparticles can significantly enhance the adhesion of the material to the mouse bladder wall, and the binding efficiency of mucin to chitosan-PLGA nanoparticles reached 97.04% ± 1.90%.
In summary, this work demonstrates that CBD may become a novel reliable anticancer drug and the developed intravesical adhesion system is expected to turn into a potential means of BC chemotherapy drug delivery.
